Apple beats Microsoft

Apple recently became the USA's second largest company and this time Apple has beaten Microsoft from revenues earned in Q3.

Microsoft Revenue in Q3 - $16.20 billion
Apple Revenue in Q3 - $20.34 billion

Apple's main revenue stream becomes mobile devices like iPhone, iPad etc... while Microsoft's main revenue generation streams are from softwares. So it says Microsoft has bigger profit margin than Apple even though Apple's revenue is high.

Meanwhile Apple is the 4th largest mobile phone manufacture in the world now too. This is after beating R.I.M (blackberry) and Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson not even with in top 5 now.
